  • Hosted the Northern Fellowship Visit and the 4th Installation Ceremony.

  • Initiated The Red Thread ’25, the club’s first large-scale joint community service initiative with 18 Rotaract Clubs in collaboration with stakeholders including the Ministry of Health.

  • Coordinated international fellowship and cultural exchange initiatives with partner clubs through joint meetings and collaborative projects.

  • Contributed to Give Life ’25, a large-scale global blood donation initiative with the Rotaract Club of Colombo Heritage.

As the President-Elect of the Rotaract Club of Rajarata University, I successfully participated in the President-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS) and Secretary-Elect Learning Seminar (SELS) 2025-26 organized by the Rotaract District Steering Committee of Rotary International District 3220.

The seminar provided comprehensive training on leadership, club administration, strategic planning, team management, and effective service project execution. Through interactive learning sessions and networking opportunities with Rotaractors across Sri Lanka and the Maldives, I gained valuable insights into leading a successful Rotaract club and creating sustainable community impact.

This experience strengthened my leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills while preparing me to effectively serve and lead the Rotaract Club of Rajarata University during the 2025-26 Rotary year.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

2025

I participated in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2025 held on 3rd and 4th May 2025, a premier leadership development program organized by Rotary International.

The program brought together young leaders from diverse backgrounds and provided opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills through interactive challenges, team-building activities, and experiential learning sessions.

Working collaboratively with my team throughout the program, we successfully demonstrated leadership, creativity, strategic thinking, and effective teamwork, ultimately emerging as the winning team of RYLA 2025.

The experience enhanced my confidence, leadership capabilities, decision-making skills, and ability to work effectively within high-performing teams while building meaningful connections with future leaders.

I participated in the 35th Rotaract District Conference organized by Rotaract District 3220, bringing together Rotaractors foster leadership development.

The conference provided valuable opportunities to engage with Rotaract leaders, participate in inspiring sessions, and gain insights into community service, leadership, professional growth, and organizational excellence. Through networking activities and interactive discussions, I was able to connect with fellow Rotaractors, exchange ideas, and learn best practices for creating sustainable impact through service initiatives.

This experience broadened my perspective on leadership, strengthened my professional network, and enhanced my understanding of teamwork, service, and personal development within the global Rotaract movement.

As a member of the IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, I have contributed to several technical and professional development initiatives aimed at fostering innovation, knowledge sharing, and student engagement within the technology community.

Through my involvement, I have participated in the planning and execution of IEEE events and activities while developing leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Notably, I served as a Host at IEEE Jamboree 2025, facilitating event proceedings and engaging with participants throughout the program. I also had the opportunity to moderate "Frontiers in Tech", contributing to insightful discussions on emerging technologies and industry trends.

My involvement with IEEE has strengthened my professional network, enhanced my public speaking abilities, and provided valuable exposure to the latest developments in technology and engineering.

Rajarata University English Language Club

As the President of the University English Language Club at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, operating under the guidance of the Department of English Language Teaching, I led initiatives aimed at enhancing students' English language proficiency, communication skills, and creative thinking.

Throughout my tenure, I coordinated and facilitated regular club meetings, interactive discussions, and engaging language-learning activities designed to promote confidence in English communication. The club organized a variety of creative segments including "Figment Friday", "Quote of the Week", puzzles, storytelling sessions, and vintage-themed discussions that encouraged active participation and knowledge sharing among members.

This role provided valuable experience in leadership, event coordination, team management, public speaking, and community engagement while fostering a collaborative environment for personal and academic development.
